For me, a good photograph allows my eyes to wander about; I enjoy noticing more detail as I stay with the photograph. I enjoy seeing something presented in a way that might make me laugh, maybe something that makes me sad. I enjoy a photograph the makes me pause and think: "How did this photographer SEE this?". All photographs present reality, something that was already there, we just didn't see it at first.
