NOICE+ is here.
A membership built for photographers who care about the work, not the numbers.
Something we’ve been thinking about for a long time is how to give more back.
NOICE started as a place to share work that deserved to be seen. Over the years it became something I didn’t fully anticipate - a community of photographers who genuinely care, who submit thoughtfully, who come back not for the numbers but for the feeling of being around work that means something. That’s not an accident. That’s you.
NOICE+ is our attempt to honour that. To build something that goes deeper than a gallery - a place where you can learn, connect, submit freely, and feel like you actually belong to something. I wanted to create more value for the photographers who’ve followed NOICE over the years, and for the ones just finding it now. This is the next step in that.
It’s not finished. It’ll keep growing, and honestly, the people inside it will shape what it becomes. That’s the part I’m most excited about.
Here's what's included in NOICE+:
Education - Guided lessons from the editor on sequencing, editing, and presenting your work. Chapter by chapter, with more added regularly based on what members want to learn.
Daily submissions - Submit once a day, every day. Priority review queue, no per-submission fee. Just submit.
Editor’s Note - Personal, written notes from the editor. Not automated, not templated. More like a letter than a newsletter.
Message the editor - A direct line to the editor. Ask something, share something, get a real reply from someone who’s actually looked at your work.
Tools, included - Matted and every future NOICE tool, free with membership. As the toolkit grows, so does what your membership covers.
Your private dashboard - Submissions, messages, education, and tools in one place. Built for photographers, not for metrics.
Why NOICE+ is different
There are photography publications and communities everywhere. Most of them do one of two things: they chase volume, or they charge you for access to an audience that may or may not care. NOICE has never been that, and NOICE+ isn’t that either.
What makes this different is the curatorial intent behind it. Everything here is chosen, considered, and built with a specific kind of photographer in mind - one who cares about the work more than the reach. The education comes from real editorial experience. The feedback is personal. The community isn’t algorithmic - it’s people who found their way here because something about NOICE resonated with them.
And unlike most memberships that launch with a fixed list of features and quietly stay there, NOICE+ is designed to grow. Member requests shape what gets built. If something isn’t working, we change it. If something is missing, we add it. That’s not a promise buried in an FAQ - it’s just how this works.
Two plans. No friction.
$200 / year - Save $88 vs monthly

If you've been part of NOICE for a while - thank you. This exists because of you. And if you're new here, welcome. You found a good place.
If you want to see Matted in action, I made a video walking through exactly how it works and how I use it day-to-day. I think it’s helpful to see the workflow and features in real time - check out the video here on our YouTube.
There’s a free trial - no pressure. If you find it useful, you can buy the full version. I’d love to hear if it’s useful for you, and what features you’d like to see next.
